Rules of behaviour for your paw friend & you
In order to make your holiday with your dog at Katschberg as pleasant as possible for everyone involved, we ask you and your pet to observe the following rules of conduct:
Sleeping area: Please do not let your dog sleep on the couch or in bed
Walk bags: Help keep the Katschberg clean and remember to always carry a walk bag with you
Grazing animals: Do not get too close to grazing animals with your dog and always keep your furry friend on a lead near cows and horses
Chairlift: Unfortunately, dogs may not be transported on the Aineck cable car
Restaurant: If you would like to stop off at a restaurant on Katschberg, simply ask a member of staff if you can take your dog with you
What needs to be considered when travelling to Austria with a dog?
It is best to contact your vet before travelling to clarify any necessary documents or vaccinations. When crossing the border, you should be able to present a valid EU pet passport and a valid rabies vaccination. During your stay in Austria, depending on the municipality, you must also carry a lead and muzzle with you and put them on if necessary. We also recommend dog liability insurance and a first aid kit for all eventualities.
